CallAssist is a local-first Android call assistant. The Android release does not include an advertising SDK or a usage analytics SDK. It requests Internet access solely to upload an optional, user-enabled crash report (see "Crash reporting" below); it is not used for anything else today.

CallAssist processes active-call state, caller identity, contacts and call history only when Android grants the required role and permissions. This information is used for calling, caller presentation, local rules, reminders and user-requested actions. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Microphone access is requested only for a user-enabled voice feature. CallAssist does not save raw command audio or recognized command text. Location is optional, requested for one bounded safety-message draft, and is not continuously tracked.

Preferences and follow-ups remain in private application storage. Trusted contacts, approved communication tasks, voice profiles and other sensitive records use Android Keystore-backed encryption where applicable. Cloud backup and device transfer are disabled.

The Privacy Center provides a confirmed "Delete all local CallAssist data" action. It removes CallAssist-owned local settings, reminders, records and encryption keys, but does not delete Android system contacts or call history. A separately configured cloud receptionist has its own authenticated deletion endpoint and retention configuration.

The cloud receptionist and personal voice provider are unavailable in the Android release unless separately configured and explicitly enabled. Their data practices will be added to this policy before production activation.

Crash reporting

Off by default. If you turn on "Send crash reports" in the Privacy Center, and the app later crashes, a technical report is sent to our own server (not a third-party crash-reporting service): the device manufacturer and model, Android version, app version, and the error's stack trace. It never includes a phone number, contact name, message content, transcript, or location. Reports are deleted from our server's holding log once reviewed; nothing is sent while the setting is off, and any already-saved report on your device is also kept only on-device until you turn the setting on.
